Harry Harding, Director of Training & Staff Development, Children’s Services of Roxbury (CSR) – Harry Harding has worked in a number of capacities with youth and families for more than a dozen years in the Boston community and surrounding areas. He currently oversees training for more than 120 active practitioners in the behavioral health department at CSR, Massachusetts’ only Community Service Agency (CSA) specializing in treating black youth. Harry’s diverse experience includes several years of direct care with at-risk youth as well as professional stints in media and public policy. Harry served as the Director of Constituent Services and later Director of Communications for former Boston City Councillor At-Large, Sam Yoon from 2006-2007. Since that time Harry has worked with several populations and held various roles within the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), including Therapeutic Mentor, Therapeutic Training & Support and Intensive Care Coordinator. More recently, Harry served as the Director of Family Services for Boston Youth Sanctuary in Dorchester, a therapeutic after school program for youth survivors of severe trauma. Earning a B.S. in Human Services from Springfield College in 2012, he graduated with a concentration in Community & Youth Development Leadership. A proud father and avid writer, Harry is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Journalism and professional certification in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University Extension School.
