Jeff Rogers

Jeff was an Executive and Leadership Coach and Facilitator who trained, coached, and facilitated for more than 10 years across the Greater Boston area. He specialized in the Solution-Focused Method, Radical Candor, and in working with “low-trust, high-heterogeneity” groups—people who are not necessarily predisposed to agree. Genuine transformation is hard work, and Jeff was known for using humor, unconventional examples, and a strong emphasis on interactivity and experiential learning to ensure that everyone felt engaged and connected.

Jeff began his career in behavioral health, where he designed and led the training department for the largest Black community service agency in Massachusetts, Children’s Services of Roxbury.

Over the course of his career, he partnered with both local and international organizations on initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, mission alignment, strategic planning, and conflict resolution.

Jeff led YW’s LeadBoston program, facilitated GenUnity’s 2020 cohort at GenUnity, taught Nonprofit Leadership and Community Engagement at Harvard Extension School, and coached MBA students at Harvard Business School through its Interpersonal Skills Development Lab. He also coached executives nationally with Root Cause and was a recommended executive coach for the Barr Foundation’s Fellowship.

Jeff’s warmth, insight, and commitment to meaningful dialogue left a lasting impact on the people and organizations he served—and on our team. We are deeply grateful for his contributions and honored to recognize his legacy as part of our community.
